Malaysia is a tropical country and the temperature in Malaysia allows the insects like mosquito and flies to grow fast and they can be seen all around the places. However, dengue fever is the most serious case happened in Malaysia that the spreading of mosquito in many places was tremendous fast.
We can never stop the spreading of the mosquito but we can reduce by keeping our place clean and no water store at open area. No matter how, I believed that many of us should take care people around us by preventing mosquito sting, and aromatherapy is also one of the option for us to prevent that.
You can try to do it yourself by using essential oils to make a home care mosquito repellent with the following recipe.
Mosquito repellent spray 30ml
Ingredients:
8 drops EO Emulsifier
3 drops Lemongrass oil
5 drops Lemon oil
30ml water
Instructions:
1) Put 8 drops of eo emulsifier into a beaker.
2) Then mix 3 drops of Lemongrass oil and 5 drops of lemon oil into the beaker and stir well.
3) Add the 30ml water and stir well. Pour it into a clean spray bottle to use.
Tip: Oil and water cannot be mixed together because oil doesn’t dissolve with water. By adding EO emulsifier can prevent the mixture from separating substances.
